This
publication is a collection of photographs from around Australia that are
included in an exhibition to be held at the Braemar Gallery in Springwood,
which is located on the edge of the Blue Mountains National Park. Each book
is hand stitched by Newbold & Collins Bookbinders, with the hard cover
being wrapped in linen. The slip case is also wrapped in the same colour linen.
The
publication is separately produced for each order received, and will therefore
take about 21 days from receipt of order to shipment. The investment required
for the 2004 Exhibition Collection is AU$700.00 including GST - excellent
value when considered on a cost per signed original image basis. Postage and
handling included.
Australia has some of the
most spectacular landscapes in the world; consisting of rugged rock formations,
saturated colours, and contrasting vegetation. The climatic extremes add to
this environmental mixing pot, with the "wet" causing roads to be
closed for months, and land to be flooded. While during the "dry"
this same landscape becomes scorching hot and the lack of water a danger to
both flaura and fauna.
Bob
Robinson has been pursuing his interest in photography for over thirty years.
His work includes images from North America, Japan, China, Europe, New Zealand,
and some of the Pacific Islands. In recent times he has concentrated on Australia,
and the outback in particular.
